Primary School Teacher

January 2025 | Grade 4-7

We seek a committed and passionate Primary School Educator who will establish a supportive and engaging learning environment, encourage curiosity, and promote both academic and personal development in young learners.

The successful candidate must meet the following minimum requirements: 

  • Primary school trained with recent experience in Grades 4 – 7.
  • Ability to teach across the curriculum in all grades.
  • Proficient computer and IT skills and experience in the integration of technology in teaching.
  • A dynamic, enthusiastic and innovative individual with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • A sound work ethic and a willingness to learn and grow by attending related workshops.
  • Excellent administrative, organisational and time-management skills.
  • Proficient in the English language with the ability to communicate effectively with learners, staff and parents to maintain positive relationships.
  • A clear understanding of the 21st Century classroom and Inquiry-based education.
  • Full involvement in the school’s extramural and co-curricular programme.
  • An appreciation of and commitment to the school’s traditions and Catholic ethos.
  • An appreciation of and innovative approach to girls’ education.
  • SACE membership and Sexual Clearance Certificate
